3rd Annual Summer Heat Car Show Called For Rain August
21st August 21st, 2011 | Author Brian Lutz
Well, once again, Mother Nature did not treat us well. We got rained out on August 14th, so we had to move to our scheduled rain date of August 21st. Some little drizzles in the morning time, then it looked like we were going to be able to get the show in. Unfortunately, we decided to call the show at about 1:30 pm due to a very nasty storm that was rolling in. We are all car owners and lovers, so we felt it was best to get all those that came out back home to get their cars away. We would like to send out a very special "thank you" to everyone that came out!! We also had members of SEPA5/Camaro5 forum join us once again for their monthly meet!! Thanks to everyone, we were able to raise some money for our "key" charity this year, Operation Homefront
Next up on our schedule is our 3rd Annual Fall Fling Car Show on Sept. 18th (rain date of Sept. 25th). BUT, before that, a couple of shows that we would like to mention that are coming up...August 27th from 4-9 pm(rain date of August 28th from 12-5) is the 1st Annual Temple Ambler Campus car show to benefit Kisses for Kyle. This looks like a great show for a great cause!! Then on August 28th from 5:30-11 pm at Stadium North Sports Bar on Route 309 is their 1st Annual Movie Night Car & Bike Show. This show will run from 5:30 until 8:30, but at approx. 9 pm, they will be showing "Hollywood Knights" on their outdoor" big screen.
This year, the weather has ruined many shows & cruise nights in the area, including ours, so if you get a chance, head out to many of the great shows in the area!!

Full House Car Club Oct. 24th Toy Drive Car Show Review November 6, 2010 | Author Brian Lutz
Well, our 2nd Annual Toy Drive Car Show was another HUGE success. After our 2009 event, we didn't think it could be topped!! With approx. 150+ cars coming out for a beautiful October afternoon, tons of toys collected for the local community, and even some extra money to buy specific items for those in need.
A special "Thank You" to our show sponsor, Serious about Sound. We also had the Hilltown Fire Company in attendance. This year, our 50/50 drawing was benefitting them and we were able to raise $176 dollars for the company. Also coming out to join us for the day were the Pennridge Greenjackets youth football team. The 105-4 team brought out items to sell during a bake sale and were able to raise just short of $400 for the team! We even had a visit from Santa!!!
All in all, our last event for the 2010 car show season was once again a great success. As we head in to a new season, we would like to remind everyone that we will be going thru a name change for 2011. We will now be known as the Full House Car Club.
The website will be changing names as well, although you will still be able to access the site thru the current domain name. We would also like to thank everyone who joined us once again this year!! Our club members put in a lot of hard work throughout the year, and our events would not be as successful as they are without all of you who attend our events.
We will have photos from all our events up in the near future and we look forward to another great year in 2011.
Full House Car Club Beef and Beer Fundraiser: November 20, 2010
| Author Brian Lutz
Recently, two of the Full House Car Club members were struck with tradgedy. The apartment that they resided in was destroyed by a fire. Having lost 99% of their property, the balance of our car club has decided to host a Beef & Beer on Nov. 20th to raise funds so that they can start to rebuild their lives. As we are all car enthusiasts, these 2 gentlemen also lost 3 cars, their tools, and many car parts besides personal items.
We are asking the local community and our friends and supporters to come on out and join us for a fun night to help other car enthusiasts. We will have a DJ, dancing, raffle items, food, and more. We are also looking for items to be raffled off. The Beef & Beer will run from 7-11 pm on November 20th at a cost of $25 per person. For those interested, tickets can be purchased by sending an email to show-car@comcast.net.
We hope to see many of you out joining us!!!
Full House Car Club Last, But Certainly Not The Least!! Toy Drive Car Show - 10/24/2010 | Author Brian Lutz
As the weather gets cooler and most of us start thinking about putting our cars away for their winter hibernation, the Full House Car Club hosts it's 2nd Annual Toy Drive Car Show. This show is probably our most rewarding throughout the year due to the fact that EVERY toy and monetary donation we receive remains within our community. Knowing that we are helping children within our own region makes this show very fulfilling. Last year, over 175 cars made their way out to support our cause.
This year, we are hoping to reach over 200 cars!!!
The Hilltown Crossings Shopping Center (Wal-Mart) located at 1515 Bethlehem Pike in Hatfield, PA gives us a great location for this. All asphalt parking, shopping, food, and plenty of room to spread out up to 400 cars!! Now, speaking of food, Mamma Mia Restaurant & Pizzeria will be opening their doors at 10 am for those early birds who come to the show and would like to get a home style cooked breakfast!! Also in attendance at the show will be our Show Sponsor, Serious about Sound, showing off what they can do for your listening pleasure while you head down the highway in your favorite car.
Hilltown Fire Company will also be joining us once again!! They will have some raffle items of which tickets can be purchased at their table right by one of their fire trucks.
From what have heard as well, we might have a special visit from Santa himself!! We've made numerous phone calls to the North Pole to see if we could get Santa to stop by, and rumor has it he might make some visits during the afternoon to see our children that will be in attendance.
We will have a 50/50 to benefit the Hilltown Fire Company, some very unique trophies made by our club members, and we will also be selling dash plaques!
Proceeds from the sale of the dash plaques will benefit the Wounded Warriors Program (http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/) that helps our men and women hurt in combat.
Lastly, we would like to invite each and every one of you to come on out and support the local community for our annual Toy Drive Car Show on October 24, 2010 from 12 - 4 pm!! We hope to see you there!!
2nd Annual Fall Fling Car Show Recap from Sept. 26, 2010 September 28th | Author Brian Lutz
Well, our 2nd Annual Fall Fling Car Show was once again a great success!! In excess of 150 cars made their way to the Limerick Community Park in Limerick, PA. The skies were overcast for the majority of the day with some minor rain drops, but it did not deter the car owners in coming out and joining us. We even had another show that was only 10 minutes down the road!! Lots of familiar cars and friends of the Full House Car Club once again showed their support for what we do.
The setting at the Park is perfect for families to head out thanks to the Manderach Playground being open this year!! Club sponsor J&B Motorsports was even gracious enough to bring out the Storm Damage monster truck that they built to the show. Celebrating his 40th birthday on 9/26, crew man, Ed, spent the entire day with us and even took some time to put on a small driving demonstration for all the kids in attendance!!!
We, as a club, cannot thank Ed, the guys at J&B Motorsports, the vendors, our club and trophy sponsors, and the car owners for coming out once again this year and supporting us!!
Below are some links to photos and videos that our friend George Watters took throughout the day. We will have a gallery up in the near future of photos that our club photographer Charlie took throughout the day.
2010 2nd Annual Summer Heat Car Show Review August 28th | Author Brian Lutz
Well, our 2nd Annual Summer Heat Car Show was less than stellar. When weathermen predict the weather, they usually state cloudy with a chance of sunshine, our weather report should have stated "rainy with a chance of clouds"!!
Although the morning time only some some very scattered raindrops, once the clock reached high noon, the rain gods decided it was time to let car show people know that they shouldn't have their cars out. For those car owners that did venture out and join us, we honestly can't thank you enough!!!
The skies decided to stop dumping water on us around 2:30 pm, which gave us just enough time hand out our awards. The Hilltown Fire Company even braved the weather and joined us for the day. Unfortunately, due to the weather, they were not able to get as involved with the show as we would have liked, but don't worry, they will be joining us in October for our annual Toy Drive (more on this at a future point).
We were also joined for the day by one of our club supporters, Serious about Sound. Again, John and his guys were not able to do much displaying due to the winds and rain. It may have been a terrible day for weather (unless you are a duck), it was a great day hanging out with friends and supporters of our car club!!!
Our future plans for this show will be trying to make arrangements with the property management company so we can make a provision to have a rain date.
Next up on our show schedule is our 2nd Annual Full House Car Club Fall Fling Car Show that takes place at the Manderach Park right on Swamp Pike in Limerick Township. That show will take place on September 26th. Last year, we had to move to a rain date, well, hopefully with the rain we got today, maybe Mother Nature will be kind to us and let us have that show on it's scheduled day.
Then we will have our annual Toy Drive Car Show on Oct. 24th where we will once again be at the Wal-Mart parking lot collecting toys for the holiday season for those less fortunate (stay tuned, we have some very special "surprises" happening for this show).
In conclusion, we would once again thank EVERYONE that came out today and braved the rain!!

New Updates, It's Been Awhile!!! Come Out And Cool Off With Some Friends And Hot Cars
Well, it's been a bit since we've been in here and made an update to our Recent News page. Well, the year has been going VERY well!!
Our Cruise Nights have been averaging in the neighborhood of 50+ cars each month, our members have been out and about at many local shows advertising our events and also winning some awards with their cars, and our yearly plans are coming together.
We've been able to secure the Wal-Mart Shopping Center (the same location as our Summer Heat Car Show) for our Annual Toy Drive Car Show!! This year, we will have room for approx. 400 cars!!!
Plans are going very well for our 2nd Annual Summer Heat Car Show as well as our 2nd Annual Fall Fling Car Show. The weather has been very hot and we hope all of you have been staying cool by drinking lots of water while out showing of your ride!! We also want to thank the many car clubs and shows that have been supporting us this year as well. The year is looking great and we look forward to seeing everyone out and about!!
We would also like to thank the businesses that continue to support the club during the year! They are Marjeane Caterers, Injection Connection, H&J Motorsports, American Muscle, BP Speed Center, Trickworks, Glazier/Nolan Mustang Barn, and others. Without the support of all of these local businesses, we would not be able to accomplish those things throughout the year that we aim to do!! We hope that you will show your support of our club by attending our events, but also patronizing the businesses that support us!!
We have also gotten to that time of year when the weather is getting nicer and people are starting to bring out their cars. We start our year on May 16th with our 1st cruise night of 2010. Each month, we will host our cruise nights at the 309 Plaza where we will collect non-perishable foods to donate to our local food banks.
The club has been growing as well. We've welcomed new members in to the fold over the past couple of months!! We have many other great announcements coming in the near future, we are helping with the NorthEast Rod and Custom Car Show, and just so much more!! We hope to see you out this year!!!
We will be making some announcements in the very near future as we welcome some returning sponsors, as well as some new sponsors for the Full House Car Club!!
We have also been "out and about" visiting many local car shows already spreading the word about our upcoming year!! We also might have some "surprises" up our sleeve for some additional events, so stay tuned!!
We've also welcomed 2 new members at our April member meeting. May 16, 2010 will mark the return of our Cruise Nights at the 309 Plaza where every month we will collect canned goods to donate to some of our local food banks.
Northeast Rod & Custom Car Show 2011 Announcement !!
The Full House Motorsports Car Club is pleased to announce their involvement in the 2011 NorthEast Rod & Custom Car Show that is scheduled to take place on March 25, 26, 27 or 2011.
The Full House Car Club's parent company, Full House Motorsports, LLC is responsible for the production of the show. Full House Motorsports, LLC is a consultation/promotion/production company that is involved with many more area events than people realize!!
The 2011 NorthEast Rod & Custom Car Show is an evolution of the many years of experience being involved with the automotive industry. There has not been an indoor show similar to this since 2006 when the Mid-Atlantic Rod & Custom Car Show was held at the now closed Ft. Washington Expo Center. Before that, the last time the Philadelphia region saw a show like this goes back to the mid 90's! Well, that's about to change!! The 2011 NorthEast Rod & Custom Car Show will be held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA.
Well, it is officially time to reveal the Full House Car Club 2010 schedule! We have done a lot of planning over the winter to "tweak" our events to make them even better for both participants and spectators alike. With the HUGE outpouring of support during the 2009 car show season, we look forward to a bigger and better 2010 season! Our 2010 show schedule can be viewed on our Events Schedule page. We also invite everyone to view the numerous listing of other events in the area. This listing of area shows can be viewed inside our Informative Car Club Forums. As always, if you know of a show that is not listed, please join our forums and add it in to the list. Please keep checking back on this page as we have numerous other "surprises" in the works for the 2010 season.
We look forward to seeing everyone once again!

Full House Car Club 2009 Year in Review !!
Well, it was a VERY successful year for Full House Car Club. Full House Car Club has technically been in existence since 2007, but 2009 ushered in an "expansion", in that we became a full-fledged car club.
As 2009 concludes, we are now at 20 members and growing!! We believe we have really set the standard for an unbiased car club since our inception.
We hosted cruise nights from May thru October that averaged between 50-80 cars each month.
We were able to host our 1st Annual Summer Heat Car Show at the Hilltown Crossings Shopping Center in Hatfield, PA on August 23rd. This show had 168+ cars at it!!
We then held our 1st Annual Fall Fling Car Show in Limerick, PA on Oct. 4th. This particular show was a "replacement" show for one we held previously in the area. We teamed with Limerick Township for the location and other things to make this show a huge success. Unfortunately, we had to use the rain date for this show, but still managed to have 219+ cars attend!!!
We concluded our year on Nov. 8th with our 1st Annual Toy Drive Car Show. We really didn't know what to expect, and were we shocked!!! Over 175 cars made their way to the 309 Plaza in Hatfield, PA!! The generosity of the car owners was unbelieveable!!
With all the money, toys, and food we collected throughout the year, we were able to put a lot of smiles on those less fortunate! We were able to raise thousands of dollars for the Susan G. Komen Foundation Breast Cancer Research, huge amounts of food that was donated to Manna on Main Street mannaonmain.org in Lansdale, PA, and the toys that we collected have gone to many families in the area to help their children have a better holiday season! We hope that 2010 will be an even better year!!
One thing that we can't forget, Our sponsors!! Without them and their help this year, we would not have been able to do half the things that we accomplished. Our Platinum Sponsors: Marjeane Caterers, J&B Motorsports, C&C Paving, and BP Speed Center.
We cannot forget our Silver Sponsors either!! Many of whom are stepping up their sponsorship levels in 2010! We have already received requests from more companies to join us for the 2010 season, so stay tuned!! We would also like to send out a very special thank you to all of the companies that stepped up and sponsored the many awards that we handed out at our car shows. There are too many to list here, but we would not have been able to hand out half of what we did without the support of our trophy sponsors.
Lastly, we would like to thank all the car owners that joined us for our cruise nights and car shows. Without all of you, our successful events would not be possible. We would also like to thank everyone that has made our website & chat forums the place to look for area events! We look forward to a bigger and better car show season in 2010 and hope you will all join us!!
